Project Terms

1. Services

Your booking includes the deliverables stated on the service page (e.g. custom pop song, beat, hook, or coaching session). Each package specifies what’s included and turnaround time.

2. Revisions

Reasonable revisions are included to ensure your project aligns with the agreed direction. Major changes outside the original scope may require additional fees.

3. Payment

• Full payment or first instalment is required to secure your booking.
• For instalment plans (40% · 40% · 20% OR 50% · 50% ), each payment must be completed before the next stage begins.
• Payments are processed securely via PayPal.

4. Refunds and Chargebacks

• (a) All bookings and payments are final.
• (b) Due to the nature of creative services — which involve time, expertise, and intellectual property — no refunds are offered once work has commenced or any ideas, materials, or feedback have been provided.
• (c) Services are considered delivered in full once creative work or deliverables have been supplied, even if the Client chooses not to use them.
• (d) By engaging any service, you agree not to initiate refunds, chargebacks, or payment disputes. Any attempt to reverse a payment will be treated as a breach of these Terms, and Kat & The Pop Single Lab™ reserves the right to suspend or terminate services and pursue recovery of fees, costs, and damages.
• (e) If Kat & The Pop Single Lab™ cannot deliver a service for unforeseen reasons (e.g. illness or force majeure), a refund or credit may be offered at our sole discretion.

5. Rights & Ownership

• You (the Client) are granted a commercial license to release, distribute, and monetise the final track(s).
• All songs created by Kat and/or through The Pop Single Lab™ remain subject to standard music publishing rights. By default, Kat / The Pop Single Lab™ retains a minimum 50% publishing share, and may retain 100% where songwriting, topline, or full lyrics/melody are solely provided by us, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• This ensures proper credit and royalties for authorship, in line with industry standards.
• Producer credits (“Produced by Kat" or "Produced by Kat at The Pop Single Lab™”) must be included in all releases.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide timely feedback, materials (e.g. lyrics, vocals, references), and to attend scheduled consultations. Delays in providing information may extend timelines.

7. Timelines

Estimated turnaround times (e.g. 4–5 weeks for songs) are approximate and depend on communication and revisions. Rush options are available at an extra cost if agreed before booking.
